Sleepy captured the NWA Primetime Championship at NWA Last Rites, defeating defending champion Adam Winters and Valentino in an Extreme Rules Triple Threat. The ninth match of the Season 2 PLE produced a title change, with Sleepy officially recorded as the resulting champion of the Primetime division. Winters entered the contest as champion and brought considerable championship experience into the three-way. He had previously held five recorded titles, including a prior Primetime Championship reign, and stood fourth in the overall ranking snapshot recorded immediately before the match. But the champion’s standing and history could not prevent Sleepy from claiming the victory in a match where every competitor represented an independent threat. The challenger arrived with a more uneven recent record but a clear opportunity. Sleepy had gone 6-7 across 13 recorded matches before Last Rites and was coming off a loss, while holding the No. 9 position in the pre-match overall snapshot. Against both the established champion and Valentino, Sleepy turned that opportunity into the first recorded championship reign of his NWA career. Valentino’s place in the field added another layer to the result. The Last Rites bout was Valentino’s first recorded NWA match, pitting him immediately against the reigning Primetime champion and a ranked challenger. Although Valentino did not secure the decision, the Extreme Rules title match marked his official entry into the league’s competitive record. For Winters, the result ends his recorded Primetime Championship reign, which had begun on June 1, 2026. For Sleepy, it is a defining win: a victory over Winters and Valentino, a new NWA Primetime Champion, and a 7-7 career record in the official books.
